Counseling Sessions Offered to Area Veterans

GAINESVILLE – Area veterans who need a listening ear will get just that through new services offered through the Gainesville-Hall County Community Center.
The center will offer individual and group therapy sessions for veterans of all military services. Former Army Chaplain Bill Carr will conduct the sessions, scheduled for Monday evenings at the Community Service Center in Gainesville.
Dr. Carr is a veteran of Vietnam and the war in Iraq. He is a Marriage and Family Therapist with additional training in Critical Incident Stress Debriefings. His sessions will focus on issues related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, deployment, redeployment and family relationships.
